He was predeceased by: his father Foute Hawkins; and his brother Glenn Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Laverne; his parents-in-law, Nellie Russell and Margaret Russell; his siblings, David Hawkins (Wilma Sue) of Louisville, Bobby Hawkins of Greenback, Alice Hawkins of Maryville and Kay Anderson (Roger) of Maryville; his stepchildren, Justin Brannon, Joshua Arden, Kristopher Teffeteller and Teresa Harris; and also Martin Russell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
