He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Patterson and Mattie Patterson; his sister Cathy Burger; and his sister-in-law Nancy Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Patterson; his sons, John D. (Yonna Patterson) and Travis Scott Patterson; his grandchildren, Taylor (Alex Rose), Avery Patterson (Eric), Sarah Patterson (Jacob Patterson), Brandon Hall (Brianna Patterson) and Kaylie Patterson (Abbey Patterson); his great grandchildren, Jacy, Casey, Navi, Zelda, Liam, Saria, Elsie and Marceline; and his brothers, Edward Patterson (Susie Patterson), Tommy Patterson and Kenneth Patterson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews; and many special friends.
