It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Barnett of Sweetwater, Tennessee, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Murrell Barnett; and his siblings, Ruby Barnett Patty, Clarence "Cotton" Wiseman, Ernest Wiseman, Donnie Wiseman, Lloyd Wiseman and Dewey "Tommy" Wiseman.
He is survived by: his daughter Amy Barnett Padgett (Mark Maynard); his grandson Cory Kight; his sister Christine Runyon (Howard); his sisters-in-law, Drusella Barnett, Nancy Wiseman and Barbara Wiseman Smith; and his close friends, Gary, Claretta Crosby and Megan "Sunshine" Ladd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
