She was predeceased by: her parents, Bethel Dixon Vandercook and Simon Mark Vandercook; her grandson Adam Mark Thomasson; and her brother Jack D. Vandercook. She is survived by: her husband James Morton Thomasson Jr. of Sweetwater; her sons, Stephen Mark (Amy Thomasson) and Michael Glenn (Lisa Thomasson); her grandchildren, Jessica Michelle Price (Aaron), Katlyn Nicole Lawson (Cory) and Rachel Elizabeth Thomasson; her brother Jerry Wallace; her sister-in-law Joanne Vandercook of Cross Plains; her sisters, Jean Taylor of Nashville and Glenda Mays of Goodlettsville; and her sister-in-law Jane Vandercook of Hendersonville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Sweetwater memorial fund.
