It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Dean Marcus of Sweetwater, Tennessee, who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughters, Fern Marcus and Deana Shanks; and his former wife Linda Burrell. He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Freeman Marcus of Madisonville; his daughter Sylvia Watson of Nashville; his grandchildren, Kesha Smith, Jesse Smith, Elizabeth Shanks, Breanna Shanks and Bailey Allison; and his siblings, Judy Rowlan of Englewood and Larry of Riceville. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
