He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Kyle and Clara Kyle; and his sister Barbara Ann Kyle Shope of Sweetwater. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Lee Hughes Kyle; his children, Misty Kyle of Sweetwater and Jeff Kyle of Maryville; his brother Murrell; his sister-in-law Bernice Kyle of Sweetwater; his niece Debbie; his nephew David Allmond of Sweetwater; and his siblings-in-law, Donald, Patricia Reynolds of Sweetwater, Betty Rolen of Loudon and Larry Hughes of Lenoir City.
