She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Virgil M. Gibson; her parents, Rev. Fred Wiseman and Jannie Miller Wiseman; her daughter Betty Louise Gibson; her grandchildren, Travis Richesin, Jason Graham, Shane Gibson and Renee Gibson; and her brother Fred Wiseman Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Laverne Richesin of Athens, Dorothy Roberts of Dayton, Teresa Fort (Rick) of Athens, Rev. Virgil W (Joy Gibson), Darren (Olga Gibson) and Randy Gibson of Athens. She is also survived by Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
