He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Myers and Edgar Green; and his siblings, Elaine Bailey, Shirley Thomas and Jimmy Green.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Green; his daughter Cassie (Jason Hicks); his siblings-in-law, Melvin Breeden and Joyce Fridley; and his sisters, Francis Rhodes, Bobbie Myers, Audrey Myers, Connie Arwood and Gail Myers.

In lieu of flowers the family will would like donations to be to St. Jude's Children Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
