She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lowry Holder and Pauledith Holder (Browder); her sisters, JoAnn Quackenbush, Lillian Yvonne "Snookie" Waters and Linda Kay Mohr; her grandson James Leonard Spurgeon III; her husband Leonard Spurgeon; her sons, Lowry Edward Spurgeon, James Leonard Spurgeon Jr. and Jerry Randall Spurgeon; her sisters, Thelma Van Deman (William) and Rosemary Todd; and her grandchildren, Nathan Spurgeon, Dillon Spurgeon, Amanda Akens (Dustin), Julia Ellen Spurgeon, Miranda Hughes (JJ), Tayla Spurgeon (Josh), Brett Spurgeon and Chase Spurgeon. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews she loved.
