He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert "Pete" and Ellen; and his brother William Robert "Bob" (Emma Lee). He is survived by: his children, Edward Jr. "Scotty" of Sweetwater, Lydia of Knoxville, Lisa of Cleveland and Lori of Knoxville; and his sisters-in-law, Dr. Janet Keener and Mary L. Tennyson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and their children.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Sweetwater or the Monroe County Friends of Animals.
