She was predeceased by: her husband Luke Thompson; her granddaughter Lisa Smith; her stepchildren, Irene Martin and James Martin; her parents, Thomas Ezell and Emma Ezell; and her siblings, Jim Ezell, John Ezell, Rufus Ezell, Ed Ezell, Minnie Evans and Irene Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Paul Martin, Emma Sue Huard and Loretta Thompson; her grandchildren, Jessie May Ruth Thompson, Holly Gail Martin, Crissy Renea Martin, Charles Martin and Chris Martin; her siblings, Cecil Ezell, Alma Lovingood, Amanda Chastain, Churchill Lindsey (Sissy) and Lula May Russell; her stepchildren, Mary Martin and David Martin; and her niece Jessie Raper. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
