He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Smith; and his sister Louise "PeaWee" Humbert. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Jones; his children, Debbie Wilson and Eddie L. Jones, II (Patricia); his grandchildren, Danielle, Jones and Andrea; and his siblings, Linda Winder of Athens, Susie Roberts of Sweetwater, Pat Vance of Colorado, Terry Smith (Wanda) of Athens and Johnny Smith (Darlene) of Athens. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
