He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth Gary Riggs; his parents, Noah Riggs and Mary Riggs; his former wife Nancy Page Riggs; and his siblings, Coy Riggs, Charles Allen Riggs and Vera Behnke.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Riggs; his children, Shelia Riggs Shipman (Paul), Jeffrey Lynn Riggs (Peggy), Anthony Doyle Riggs (Gonda) and Ginger Faith Harris; his stepson William Wheeler; and his brother Oren Riggs. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
