She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl "Red" Thompson and Sophia White-Thompson; her husband Lonnie King of Hattiesburg, MS.; her stepdaughters, Francis King-Crowe of Temple, GA. and Connie King-Atkinson of Centerville, AL; her aunt Dot; and her sisters, Captola Thompson-Gage and Teola Thompson-Patterson. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
