She is survived by: her children, Donna McSpadden (Jim) of Jonesboro, GA, Karen Martin of Johnson City and Richard Martin (Karen) of Sweetwater; and her grandchildren, Marsha McSpadden of Tuscaloosa, AL, Ryan McSpadden (Angela) of LaGrange, GA, Shelia Russell (Mike) of Sweetwater, Sarah Gordan (John) of Athens, Molly Simbeck (Nathan) of Cleveland, Justin Settles of Sweetwater and Allen Morgan of Sweetwater. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.

“I just found out about Mrs. Martin's passing. I know all of you in the family miss her so much. I will certainly miss my visits with her every time I was in Sweetwater. She was Mother's best friend. They spent a lot of years "egging" together. Your mother was very talented and enjoyed ranging into other crafty/arty things. I enjoyed our conversations.
