He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harold Fred and Lois Maudine Phipps; and his brothers, Ronnie Estes and Donald Eugene Jr. Estes. He is survived by: his wife Maria Serrant Fred; his children, Candice Simon and Darren Fred; his grandchildren, Brian Simon, Nicole Webb, Zoe Fred, Elizabeth Fred and Conner Fred; and his sisters, Connie Larson and Frances Elrod.
