He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Juanita Ramsey; and his half-brother Gary Bethune. He is survived by: his siblings, Henry "Butch" Sledge, Freddie Sledge, Keith Sledge, Michael Bethune, Sherrie Harris and Brenda Gail Brown; his stepmother Mary Sue Sledge; and his aunts, Rosie Sledge and Mae Sledge. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
