He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Ruby Lee Thomas (Moore); his siblings, James Thomas, Frank Thomas and Sharon Cornelia Buckner (Thomas); his sister-in-law Pat Thomas of Sweetwater; his niece Victoria Haun (Vickie Buckner) of Englewood; and the mother of his child Sandra Akins (Oody) of Tellico Plains.
He is survived by: his son Robert Shawn Thomas (Alisha) of Madisonville; his brother Alvin Thomas (Peggy) of Vonore; and his nieces, Michelle Givens (Thomas) of Madisonville, Angela Shaffer (Thomas) of Vonore and Amber Pippin (Thomas) of Sweetwater.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sweetwater Memorial Park (1838 US-11, Sweetwater, TN 37874).
