He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Lloyd Jackson and Dorothy Johns Jackson; and his nephew Bradford Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Allmon Jackson; his son Byron Lloyd Jackson, III; his wife Beth of Knoxville, TN.; his daughter Bethany Maness (Lee) of Brentwood, TN; his stepdaughter Misty Bettis Newman (Mike) of Philadelphia, TN.; and his sisters, Kathy Ransdell (Lewis) of Knoxville, TN and Marte Wright (Jim) of Minneapolis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made in his honor to Concord Baptist Church 11704 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37394.
