With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Thompson of Sweetwater, Tennessee, who passed away on August 27, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hampson Jackson Thompson and Eva Clark Thompson; and his siblings, Charles Thompson, John Thompson, Jim Thompson, Ernest "Jesse" Thompson and Louise Teague.
He is survived by: his children, Robert "Bobby" Thompson (Christina), David Thompson and Sara "Chrissy" Thompson-Hall; his grandchildren, Bradley Thompson, Kyle Thompson, Travis Thompson, Cheyenne Collins, Samantha Lockhart, Brianne Bennett, Carlee Hall, Robert, Craig (Candace), Daniel, Joshua, Jordan Hagar and Bethany Smith (Casey); and his sister Peggy McGlaughn. He is also survived by 6 Great Granddaughters and 3 Great Grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.
