He was predeceased by: his wife Zeta Johnson; and his parents, William, Sr. and Eula Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Steve Johnson, Lori Johnson of Winston Salem, NC, Phillip Johnson, Ann Johnson of Sweetwater and Ruth Preston of Lenoir City; and also John Preston of Lenoir City. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
