She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Francis "Bud" Simms and Laura "Ginny" Worsdell McLeary of Virginia; her husband James C. "Jimmy" Cornett; her son Jimmy Cornett, Jr.; and her brother Marion Francis Simms.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jackie Amos of Strunk, KY and Penny (Billy Barrett); her siblings, Patricia McLeary Deloach Kahl (Michael) of Essex, MD, Bryan Simms (Dotti), Baltimore and Brenda Scruggs (Bob) of Lake City, FL; her sisters-in-law, Jeannie Simms of Canon City, CO and Molly Leydig of Strunk, KY; her grandchildren, Derek Amos, Eddie Bailey, Jackie Ball (Jesse) and Nicole Rogers (Jon); and her great grandchildren, Damian, Malichi, Drake, Charlie, Jaxon, Jazlyn, Jace, Gage, Alexis, Grayson, Grant, Brooklyn, Camden and Kenleigh.
