With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Yates of Sweetwater, Tennessee, who passed away on June 25, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford Yates; her parents, Walter Thomas and Gladys Thomas; her sisters, Sue Elliot and Lula Belle Gibson; and her sister-in-law Emma Sue Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Ann; her son-in-law Larry Coleman of Etowah; her son David Yates; and her siblings, Hulah Thomas, Elda Ann Anderson, William N. Thomas of Sweetwater, Walter C. Thomas Jr. of Sweetwater and G. W. Thomas of Sweetwater. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
