He is survived by: his children, Verna E. Horton (Wayne), Grace L. Christian, Nellie Kate Christian, Alice Faye Greer and James Victor Barrett; and his nephews, J. E. and Virgil Mauk. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
