He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Faye Sloan; his parents, Lowe Sloan and Arie Sloan; his children, Michelle Sloan Johnson and Robert Jason Sloan; and his brother Jim Sloan.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Thomas Johnson (Courtney) and Stephen Johnson; his great grandchild Charlie Johnson; his siblings, Tom Sloan (Lois), Anna Sloan Manis and Claudia Sloan Robinette; and his sister-in-law Pat Sloan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
