He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Walters and Inez Walters; and his siblings, Rhonda Walters, Rudy Walters and Emory Walters.

He is survived by: his wife Fredda Walters; his sons, Jeff Walters (Lisa) and Joseph Walters; his grandchildren, Samantha Walters and Caleb Walters; and his brother Glenn Walters (Paula). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
