He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lena Grindstaff and Lee Roy Grindstaff; his wife Peggy White; his children, Wes White (Megan) of Church Hill, Jeff White of Elizabethton, Libby Lewis of Unicoi, Dede Cooper of Unicoi and Mitzi Bowen (Gary) of Unicoi; his grandchildren, Brian Bowen, Taylor Collins, Aaron White, Tucker White and Jada Collins of Heather Powell; his great grandchild Marlee Powell; his daughter Mitzi Rd (Gary Bowen); and also Sciota Rd.
