With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judy Linkous Hunley of Surgoinsville, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 18, 2025 at the age of 63. She was predeceased by: her father Billy Gaines Linkous; and her close friend Wendy Greene. She is survived by: her son Mitch Hunley (Jacquline); her mother Shirley Linkous-Troxell (Ranny) of Surgoinsville; her grandchildren, Jacob and Alayna Hunley; her brothers, Michael Linkous (Joyce) of Surgoinsville, Billy Ray Linkous (Frances) of Surgoinsville and Bryan Linkous of Kingsport; her godsons, Chuck Kelly and Levi Morgan; and her close friends, Pam, Regina, Gwen, Sharon and Angel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Broome Funeral Home Chapel (513 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hawkins County Memorial Gardens (536 Carters Valley Lp, Rogersville, TN 37857).
