He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Pruitt and Ina Brown Pruitt; his wife Verdabell Behrends Pruitt (Ann) of Lone Rock; his son David Pruitt; and his siblings, Barnie Pruitt, Reba Pruitt, Fenton Pruitt and Marie Pruitt Bright.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Pruitt (Kim), Denise Pruitt and Randall Pruitt (Jeannie); his grandchildren, Taylor Pruitt (Katelyn), Landon Pruitt and Lauren Pruitt; and his siblings, Phyllis Pruitt Golden, Sue Pruitt Hinkle and Robert Pruitt (Mary Jane). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to New Providence Presbyterian Church, Surgoinsville.
