He was predeceased by: his former wife Sue Brooks Russell; his parent Daisy Russell; his grandson Jacob Matthew Light; and his siblings, Earl Russell, Emory Russell, Carl Russell, Dewey Russell, Newt Russell, Ralph Russell and Effie Greer.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Hartsock Russell; his daughter Tammy Linkous; his grandchildren, Dustin Light and Shoshana Linkous; his great grandchildren, Joseph, Salena and Alyssa; his stepdaughter Penny Pearce (Jeff); and his grandchildren, Brittany Pearce and Logan Pearce. He is also survived by his brother and colleague, Ken Russell along with a host of friends.
