He is survived by: his children, Pamela Patricia (John Thomas White) of Gary, TN, Sheila Gay (Kenneth Pelfrey) of Surgoinsville, TN, Melissa Dawn (Michael Allen) of Surgoinsville and Michael Andrew Shanks (Patti) of Rogersville, TN; his daughter-in-law Barbara Shanks of Surgoinsville, TN; his sisters, Mary Ferrell and Dorothy McCoy; and his pet Callie. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his loyal.
