It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Smithers of Sunbright, Tennessee, born in Robbins, Tennessee, who passed away on March 2, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Smithers and Thelma Smithers; his sister Mary Pauline Carroll; his brother-in-law Martin Carroll; and his niece April Hutson.
He is survived by: his sisters, Judy Hughett (Kenny) and Lois Hutson (Ricky); and his children, Greg Smithers (Debbie), Tim Smithers (Dianna), Jodi Long, Scott Smithers (Lori) and William Smithers (Rachael). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
