It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Travis L. Moore of Summertown, Tennessee, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oscar "W. O." and Vernice Gilbreath Moore; his sons, Kevin and Richard Moore; his son-in-law Jerry Ray; his granddaughter Katie Steadman; and his great grandchild Connor Chambers.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Moore of Summertown, TN; his daughters, Benita Ray of Summertown and Jennifer Collier (Bruce) of Summertown; his sister Glenda Burdette (Billy) of Summertown, TN; his grandchildren, Kimberly Chambers (Jon), James Ray, Phillip Ray, Andrew Collier, Evan Collier, Anna Collier, Garrett Moore and Leah Moore; and his great grandchildren, Brandi Chambers, Colton Chambers and Jamie Chambers.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Neal Funeral Home (231 N Military Ave, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Brace Cemetery (161 Brace Loop, Summertown, TN 38483).
