With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norman Sonnier of Summertown, Tennessee, who passed away on November 10, 2024 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Norman farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Norman is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Watson Sonnier and Christine Howell Sonnier; his sister Linda Wray (David); and his son Travis Burlison. He is survived by: his wife Vickey Hull Sonnier; and his children, Joseph Sonnier (Brooke), Cathy Sonnier, Christy Greenleaf, Misty Sonnier and Tonya White (Frankie). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 2 more great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Whispering Hills Church of God (219 State Hwy 20, Summertown, TN 38483). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hinestown Cemetery (1466 Co Hwy 361, Summertown, TN 38483).
