He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Levi Cornelius and Martha Ann Lane Cornelius; and his brothers, Bobby Ray Cornelius and Gerry Wayne Cornelius. He is survived by: his wife Portia Cornelius; his sons, Randy Lee Cornelius (Heather) of Summertown, TN and Joshua Adam Cornelius (Debi) of Water Town, MA; his sisters, Linda Bobo (Daniel Craig) of Summertown, TN, Patricia Gail Blair of Columbia, TN, Shirley Sue Graham of Columbia, TN, Sandra Kay Phillips of Summertown, TN, Joannie Lee Shively of Columbia, TN and Kathy Lynn Cornelius of Lawrenceburg, TN; his grandchildren, Justin Blake Cornelius (Danielle), Dylan Levi Cornelius, Andrew Charles Cornelius, Tayler Blake Landrum (Brittany), Kinlee Moore and Abbigale Burleson (Lane); and his great grandchildren, Vivian Jean Cornelius, Micah Lee Cornelius, Easton Wade Landrum, Charley Mae Landrum and Blakely Rae Landrum. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services (609 Bear Creek Pike, Columbia, TN 38401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
