It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lerlie Mae Tarpley (Summertown, Tennessee), who passed away on August 14, 2018, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. and Fannie Eula Ward Newton; her husband John Tarpley; her son Jeff Tarpley; and her brothers, Robert Earl Newton and Charles Newton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Bailey of Summertown, Marquetta Staggs (John) and April Tarpley; her brothers, Harold Dean Newton of Ethridge, Bobby Newton (Catherine) and Joe Newton (Faye); and her grandchildren, Mike Bailey Lanesia Johnson (Stephanie), Thristen Garland Nick Staggs (Josh) and Holly Wunner Russell Tarpley (Caleb). She is also survived by 12 Great-Grandchildren 1 Great-Great-Grandchild.
