He was predeceased by: his parents, George Austin and Bertha Pauline Davenport Long; and his siblings, Alean Allen, Wanda Carver, Wilda Shupe, Fairley Long and Lonnie Long.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Long of Summertown, TN; his sons, Dale Long of Summertown, TN and Mike Long (Meredith) of Summertown, TN; his brother David Long of Lawrenceburg, TN; and his grandchildren, Neka Grace Long, Tehya Skye Long, Mya JennLee Long and Xander Dalton Long.
