He was predeceased by: his parents, Norvell James and Thelma Emma Thompson Smith; and his siblings, Robert Smith and Jean Harris. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Smith of Summertown, TN; his children, Diane Myers (Bill) of Loganton, PA, Archie Duane Smith (Diana) of Westlake, OH and James Todd Smith (Tami) of Athens, AL; his grandchildren, Barbara, Kristel, Dwayne, Casey and Jordan; and his great grandchildren, Ambyr, Allen, Margot, Elliot, Jack and Thomas.
