She was predeceased by: her parents, Lanny McCandless and Jewell Matthews McCandless; and her brother Terry McCandless. She is survived by: her children, Zachery Hennessy (Ashley) and Kiesha Gray (Jackie); her sisters, Rhonda McCandless and Shelia Matthews; and her grandchildren, Zayson Hennessy, Kaidyn Gray, Alexyss Hennessy, Harley Gray, Weatherby Hennessy and Cylestia Gray. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
