We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2022, at the age of 81, Alice Faye Merritt of Summertown, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawson Carter and Lois Singleton Carter; and her siblings, Evelyn, Thelma, Cora, Lois, George of Raymond, J. W. and Perry Carter.

She is survived by: her husband Jesse J. Merritt; her children, Ann Chiemwichitra of Thailand, Donna Atcharatit of Thailand, Pat of Thailand and Tinnavate Chiemwichitra of Thailand; and her siblings, Margaret Wilson of Mt. Juliet, Charlie Carter of Lascassas, TN and Terry Carter of Lavergne, TN. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
