She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Scates and Beulah Scates; her brother James Scates (Faye); her daughter Angel Kay Colvin; and her nephew Roy Clifton.
She is survived by: her children, Kenny Thomas (Karen), Timothy Thomas, Mary Ford (Billy), Rebecca Furr (Darrell) and Teresa Lundquist (Jeff). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; 1 niece; and 2 nephews.
