She is survived by: her son Fred Patterson III; her stepson Tom Rucker (Kara); her sister Jane Lethco Corbett; her niece Elise McCalvin; and her nephews, Craig Corbett, James Corbett and Bill Trent.

She blessed others by crocheting blankets that she then donated to Children's Hospital.
