She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Underwood (Carpenter) and Ralph Underwood; her husband Ray; her son Ralph; and her siblings, Martha Ruth Bevis, Marjorie Kirkendol, Agnes "Polly" Bowling and Glenn Underwood.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Jessica Ennis (Chris); her great grandchildren, Reed and Dean; her daughter-in-law Martha Howard; her sister-in-law Laverne Newman (Howard); her friend Charlotte Justice; and her caregivers, Amy, Nikisha and Pat. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
