She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Wells and Thelma Williams Smith; her siblings, Glen Earl Wells and Shirley Davis; and her son Steven Gideon.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Gideon (Destinee), Dwayne Gideon (Veronica), Chet Gideon, Missy Brown (Chip) and Pamela Balaszi (Tommy); her siblings, Teresa Wilburn (David) and David Smith (Judy); her great grandchildren, Sarah (Allan), Finley Burris, Mason Gideon, Maria Archie (Tyler), Ollie Sherrod, Christine, Emilio Garner, Vanessa Gideon, Sandra (Garrett), Adria Cox, Chad Gideon, Shaine (Martha), Eliana Gideon, Hannah Brown, Hailey Gideon (Anthony), Dawson, Ryker and Skyla Parker; her cousins, Mike, Pam and Mark Busher; her close friend Ruby; and her grandmother Sandifer. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
