He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Williams and Goldie Williams; and his brothers, Frankie, Bob and Ray.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Neas Williams; his children, Randy Williams (Janet) and Wendy Williams; his grandchildren, Jordan Stanton (Landry), Bailey and Averi Williams; and his great grandchildren, Lucy James and Jolee Rae Stanton.
