With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geraldine Bales Denney of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2024 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pryor Lee and Ellen Bales; her husband George Denney (Buddy); her siblings, Leona Bales Rettig and James W. T. Bales (Jay); and her nephew James W. Bales (Butch).
She is survived by: her nephew Danny Bales (Nicki) of Jefferson City; her niece Anne Bales Mitchell (Jack) of Strawberry Plains; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Shane Miles, Laura Miles, Jimmy Bales, Kristie Bales Huffman, Lesli Bales-Sherrod, Audra Bales Hakim, Mark Bales and Brad Bales; her pet Snickers; and her close friend Phyllis McCall. She is also survived by sister; and many more great friends.
In lieu of flowers, she requested that you make a donation to the animal shelter of your choice.
