He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Edmonds and Nancy Edmonds (Hale); and his siblings, Robert Jr., Paul Edmonds and Agnes Moody.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Edmonds; his children, Jeff Edmonds (Susan) and Star Parton (Johnny); his grandchildren, Kristen, Brad (Susie), Josh Edmonds (Haley), Danica Strange Douglas (Chris), Cimber Strange, Allison Whitson (Shawn) and Matt Whitson (C. J.); and his brothers, James Edmonds (Dorothy) and Billy Joe Edmonds (Virginia). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial gifts be made to the Hills Union Cemetery Fund Inc., 2383 Hills Chapel Rd., Dandridge, TN 37725.
