She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Mae Parsons Wilson and George Wilson; her sons, Steve Black and Johnny Black; and her siblings, Jack Wilson, Woodrow Wilson and Mary Ruth Wilson Stooksbury.
She is survived by: her spouse Fred A. Pittman; and her son David G. Pittman (Cindy) of Strawberry Plains. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations to be made to Wounded Warrior Project, Disabled American Veterans or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
