She was predeceased by: her husband Burl L. Hillard, Sr.; her parents, Isaac Moody and Ruth Moody; her brother Wayne; and her siblings-in-law, Daris Moody, Eugene Hillard, Carroll Hillard, Frank Lee and Margaret Hillard Wilson.

She is survived by: her children, Elaine Lundy (David), Lonas Hillard (Jana) and Joseph Hillard (Deedra); her grandchildren, Jessie Lundy Curatolo (Joe), Jamie Lundy, Megan Hillard Carney (Phil), Morgan Hillard, Makenzie Hillard, Isaac Hillard, Kynlee Hillard (Nate) and Jonah Hillard; her great grandchildren, Keaton, Kyndle Carney and Forrest Moore; her siblings, Pauline Hodge (Ronald), Louise Chandler, Delores Shope (Ralph), Lester Moody (Pearlie), Dean Moody (Fleda), Fain Moody (Kay) and Sam Moody (Laura); and her siblings-in-law, Neta Smith (Allen) and Dewey Hillard. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.

Flowers will be welcomed or memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Shady Baptist Church.
