He is survived by: his parents, Charles "Chad" Bates and Misty Hobbs; his stepfather Jesse Hobbs; his siblings, McKenzie Bates, Peyton Bates and Lee Hobbs; his grandparents, Jerry, Polly Holt and Barbara Hensley; and his nephew Maverick Dylan Townsend. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends.
